The Pack will be participating in the District Community Service Day. We will be picking up trash and litter at the Barker Reservoir - Highway 6 and Briar Forest, SATURDAY NOV 15 at 9 AM

Parents we hope you will join us for our Community Service Day as we clean up debris and trash along the trail. On this day all units in the area will be performing service projects. This is part of Sam Houston Area Council's celebration of a "Century of Service" in 2014. To commemorate this milestone, we will log-in more than 100,000 hours of service on November 15, 2014

**Scouts are required to participate in this event in order to receive the last segment for the Centennial Patch.

Community Service Day is a day for units to perform a service project for their chartered organization or the community, participate in an Eagle Scout project, or conduct a conservation project. The Sam Houston Area Council is celebrating a "Century of Service" in 2014. To commemorate this milestone, we will log-in more than 100,000 hours of service on November 15, 2014 across the 16 1/2 counties we serve.

The 100th Anniversary of Sam Houston Area Council's last celebration of the year occurs with a huge service event on November 15, 2014. On this day, the goal is to achieve 100,000 hours of service across the Sam Houston Area Council. Units can perform a service project for their chartered organization, participate in an Eagle Scout project, perform community service or be involved in a larger Land Stewardship project.
