Hi AllHope you had a good holiday season. January and February are busy months for Cub Scouts! Next week is the Pinewood Derby - Always tons of fun. Build your car for speed or for looks - you'll all be winners when you look at everything you learned during this activity.

Thanks to those who made it to the pack and den meeting yesterday. If you missed it, here's what you need to catch up on at home:

5F - Go outside and look at the weather. Follow the Cub Scout Handbook as a guide: How do you use each sense to tell what the weather is, or what it will be like

5D- Make a leaf rubbing: Using a piece of paper, take a dead leaf and use a crayon to gently rub its pattern onto the paper.

Everyone must do the Character Connection for Faith at home.

There is a poll up for the Sports Go-See-it. Please fill it out so we can decide on a date or alternate outing.

We also discussed upcoming outings: visiting a radio/TV station/newspaper office, Taking a nature walk outside (perhaps at Edith Moore sanctuary) and visiting a police station. I would like for 3 parents to take charge of these: get info and organize the outing. If you have any connections in these areas, please look into it and let me know. We need all activities done before April so the boys can graduate at the May pack meeting.
